A 501(c)3 non-profit organization, WHSAA has been involved with alumni affairs since our founding in 1997. Our purpose is to keep alumni connected to each other, to the schools and to Wadsworth.
Through the generosity of our dues-paying members and other contributors and supporters, we are able to award scholarships every year to deserving students and alumni.
We also provide community outreach by
- Staffing information tables at high school and city events
- Hosting receptions to honor our most seasoned alumni
- Sending emails that:
- Share news about WHSAA meetings and activities and other items of interest
- Notify members of the deaths of fellow WHS alumni as well as educators and other community members who had a profound effect on students
Every former Wadsworth High School student is automatically a member of the Wadsworth High School Alumni Association. Dues-paying members have voting rights – as well as the satisfaction of supporting our scholarship program.
The association meets on the first Tuesday of most months (we usually skip January and July) – both automatic and dues-paying members are welcome to attend. Click here for our current list of officers.
